This is a project I've had on the back-burner for a while now. The Case Files of Harvey Benson follows the story of a "down on his luck" detective and his ill-fated struggle to get his life back on track and regain the respect of society.

I've been working on graphic style so far. I'm going with a minimalist art style accompanied by fancy lighting effects and post-processing. As well as being a fan of the minimalist style, as I'm primarily a developer rather than an artist, it is also an art style I'm capable of achieving in a sensible time frame.

One of the post-processing effects I've been working on is localised saturation. The majority of the game will be in grayscale as a film noir throwback but full colour will be used to help draw attention to key items and current action.
